Now Foods – Hosts annual Open House.
Bloomingdale,IL.—More than 200 natural products retailers gathered for Now Foods - Health Groups 7th annual open house, which included a two-day program of educational sessions and a tour of NOW’s 203,00 Square Foot, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)_Certified Plant. Industry speakers included author Carl Gemano, R.D., C.N.S., Marcia Zimmerman and Lorna Vanderhaeghe, B.Sc., as well as industry consultant Suzanne Shelton. “Every year, this program gives us the opportunity to prove a new customers that our manufacturing and education are among the very best in the industry,” said Al Powers, president of NOW (www.nowfoods.com). During the event, NOW Foods also received the first “Archangel” award from the vitamin Alliance for its support of the non-profit organization’s charitable work.
